MPI UK & Ireland in full support of Britain for Events 2011

Over 100 delegates attended the much anticipated Britain for Events launch event at The Deck, National Theatre, including government and industry representatives. Current past board members of the MPI UK & Ireland Chapter attended this event which saw Nick de Bois MP, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary Group for Events, and Kevin Murphy, CEO ExCeL London, outline their collective support of the Britain for Events campaign and the opportunity the industry has to grow its impact on the UK economy. Michael Hirst, Chair Business Visits & Events Partnership, was also present to open the event.
