MPI are excited to present Dr. James Bellini, a leading futurologist and author with a considerable reputation as a thought-provoking speaker and moderator at top-level management conferences and business schools around the world. James has spent more than twenty-five years as a respected TV broadcaster (The Money Programme, Panorama and Newsnight), futures analyst and writer with a strong focus on social, economic and technological trends up to 2020.

 During dinner James will discuss and answer questions on a whole host focuses on such issues as: the emerging new balance of world economic power; the impact on business strategy of new technologies and the wireless and connected world; new business ‘eco-systems’ -- the shape, style and psychological characteristics of tomorrow’s company; the future of work and the workplace; life and work in the digital age; the global demographic revolution and its future impact; tomorrow’s people; building the post-carbon economy; and the business challenges of the green agenda.

MPI planner forums to date have been a fantastic success and provide a great opportunity for peer networking and sharing of best practice whilst enjoying fine dining. Previous topics have included London 2012 Planning and Cultural Programme, Event Sustainability, Meeting Architecture and Venue Contract Negotiation.

Corporate forums have been well attended by planners from companies such as Barclays, Schroders, Societe Generale, Marks and Spencer, AVIVA, COI, BVCA and Thomson Reuters. Our corporate forums normally engage up to 10 – 12 planners at the dining table and are open to corporate planners only.
